Custom Engraved Brass Tags are available in round or square shapes; they are also available in 1”, 1.5”, or 2” Diameters. Brass tag engraving can be filled with black, blue, red or white colors to make the letter stand out from the tag.

Specification for Brass

#4 Satin Finish Alloy 260 Brass, 19 Gauge

Basic copper-zinc alloy are easy to manufacture, maintain fair electrical characteristics, and provide good strength. Alloy 260 (Cartridge Brass) – no need to hot work this alloy – it’s the most ductile brass and gives superior result when cold worked. Color is full-brass yellow. Melting point is 1750°F. Yield strength is 52000 psi. Rockwell hardness is 60-77B.

Engraved Stainless Steel Tags

Stainless Steel tags are available in 1”, 1.5”, and 2” round or square shapes. Stainless steel tag cannot be filled and are provided as natural. Holes and adhesive backing can be added for easy mounting and installation for both brass tag and stainless steel.

Specification for Stainless Steel

Type  304 Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is an alloy of iron that has had at least 10% chromium added to improve corrosion resistance. The designation 18-8 refers to stainless steel that has approximately 18% chromium and 8% nickel-it generally applies to types 301, 302, 303, and 304.

The most widely used stainless steel, type 304 is commonly used in chemical and food processing equipment, gutters, and flashing. It has good weld ability, formability, and temperature resistance.

Temperature range to maintain corrosion resistance is -320Ί to +1600ΊF.

Hardness: 180-201 Brinell

Yield strength: 30,000 psi

Corrosion Resistance is Excellent for Type 304-Resists outdoor, industrial, marine, and most chemical
